As part of our series of cat prints, we wanted to capture the whimsy found in our 'Crow in a Raincoat' (Mac & Wellies) print and created another two-colour multiblock print. In particular, we explored the concept of translucency, similar to the yellow raincoat; here, it’s the eyes shining through the sunglasses.

The paper size is 20cm x 20cm.
The paper: Handmade Paper
Titled & Signed by the Artist.

Printing Process

Professional Oil based Ink is applied to the lino block, and then with a Glass Baren, the print is hand burnished.
Each print is inked by hand and unique, so no two prints are the same. Due to this, there can be small colour stains, as well as discrepancies in the ink application and printed image, which makes every print an absolute original.
In terms of colour, different display settings may cause colour deviations from the original colours.

Oh I'm so very happy to have managed to grab this beautiful hand printed linocut art before they sold out!
I follow these guys on Instagram and got the heads up that a new set of images were due to hit the Etsy store. I bought several prints that I had seen being created and was super happy (although I missed the crow one 😞) and waited for their arrival.
The items arrived well protected and are everything I could have hoped for. Now to find the perfect frames.
Definitely be buying more and hopefully I'll be quicker off the mark next time.
