At the start of summer 2024, we introduced this print for the first time in yellow. Now, this is our latest version in soft pink.

The design is inspired by those waterproof ponchos you wish for during an unexpected downpour. With the recent heavy rainfall, a yellow raincoat or even a pink poncho feels particularly apt.

Precision in registration is key to this piece. To evoke the look of plastic waterproof material almost transparent and very thin; it’s essential that sections of the white paper beneath show through the pink. This creates the effect of a subtle, plastic-like shine.

 

Print Specs

The Paper Size is 20cm x 20cm.
The Paper: Somerset Satin - White (250gsm)
Titled & Signed by the Artist.

Printing Process

Ink is applied to Japanese Vinyl and then with a Glass Baren the print is hand burnished.

Each print is inked by hand and unique, so no two prints are the same. Due to this there can be small colour stains, as well as discrepancies in the ink application and printed image, which makes every print an absolute original.

In terms of colour, different display settings may cause colour deviations from the original colours.
