‘Mamma Bear’ is a hand-carved linocut print capturing a quiet moment in the wild. This bear artwork shows a mother bear with her cubs, playful and protective. Inspired by our earlier 'Fleeting Wishes' print, it celebrates those fleeting moments in nature.

We printed this on handmade paper with banana bark inclusions, giving each print its own unique appearance.

Printing Process

Professional Oil based Ink is applied to the lino block, and then with a Glass Baren, the print is hand burnished.
Each print is inked by hand and unique, so no two prints are the same. Due to this, there can be small colour stains, as well as discrepancies in the ink application and printed image, which makes every print an absolute original.
In terms of colour, different display settings may cause colour deviations from the original colours.

Absolutely Beautiful

I was completely blown away by the Mamma Bear print, it was even more beautiful in person than it looked online. The print came meticulously packaged with an absolutely wonderful thank you gift.
