In early 2024, we created this print of a Maine Coon, widely seen as one of largest domesticate cats and as the name suggests they were originally bred in the northern United States. 

We have now completed a new run of this print and it forms part of our larger cat print collection, though this was one of the original cat prints.

Printing Process

Professional Oil based Ink is applied to the lino block, and then with a Glass Baren, the print is hand burnished.
Each print is inked by hand and unique, so no two prints are the same. Due to this, there can be small colour stains, as well as discrepancies in the ink application and printed image, which makes every print an absolute original.
In terms of colour, different display settings may cause colour deviations from the original colours.

Loved all the detail captured in the reflection as well as the actual Maine coon. Bought as a birthday gift for a family member who loves maine coons but cannot have one due to ill health .... sure they will love it too 🤗
